Nicki Petruzzella Kerns, Piano accompanist

Nicki Petruzzella Kerns, a native of San Francisco, holds a B.M. in piano performance from Dominican College of San Rafael (now Dominican University). She has studied with Sylvia Jenkins, Robert Hagopian, and Robert Shultz. Well-versed in many styles of music and several instruments, she has appeared as a soloist with the Redwood Symphony, worked for the Mendocino Music Festival as their rehearsal pianist, and for the Monterey Jazz Festival '97 cruise as a jazz bassist.

She was the music director for Max's Opera Café in Palo Alto for many years. Currently she is the organist and music director for St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Ben Lomond, appears at Max's Opera Café and Nicolino's Garden Café in Sunnyvale, and has a teaching studio in Boulder Creek. She resides in Boulder Creek with her husband Donald and two children.
